Policy
Burj Al Riyad is developed on a zero-tolerance basis towards bribery and corruption.
Burj Al Riyad is a proposed development of Zerkin Capital Limited. We do not offer, promise, give, request or accept a bribe, in any form, in Saudi Arabia or anywhere else. This applies to everyone acting for the project: our team, advisors, consultants, designers and contractors.
Our dealings with government bodies, landowners and regulators about the project are conducted openly and in writing. We do not give or offer anything of value to a public official to influence a decision, an approval, a licence or the allocation of land, and we make no facilitation payments.
Members of the project’s advisory board serve without payment and receive no commission, fee or share of any outcome. We do not pay anyone for access to, or influence over, a public official. Any consultant or intermediary acts under a written agreement and is paid only for genuine services at a fair rate.
Gifts and hospitality must be modest, infrequent, openly given and connected to a genuine business purpose. Cash is never acceptable, and nothing is offered to anyone involved in a pending decision about the project.
We expect our tenants, operators, contractors and suppliers to meet the same standard, and we will include anti-bribery undertakings in our contracts as the project advances.
If you believe that someone acting for the project has breached this standard, or you have been asked for a payment or an advantage, please write to inquiries@burjalriyad.com. Concerns are treated in confidence and no one is penalised for raising one in good faith.
