Privacy Notice

How we handle the details you give us when you register your interest or write to us.

1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is Zerkin Capital Limited (“Zerkin Capital”, “we”), registered in the United Kingdom, company no. 17356581, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. 2. What we collect

Registration form: your full name, email address, the area you are interested in, your confirmation that you agree to be contacted, and the date and time you sent the form.
Emails and letters you send us, including your contact details and what you tell us.
Technical data: when you open this site, the hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not set cookies and do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and the typefaces are served from this site, not from a third party.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive data such as health, political or religious information.

3. Why we use it and on what basis

To tell you about Burj Al Riyad when you register. Basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and EU GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
To answer your inquiries from operators, tenants, academic partners and investors, and to take steps before a possible agreement. Basis: Article 6(1)(b) and our legitimate interest in running the project (Article 6(1)(f)).
To keep this site secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make decisions about you by automated means.

4. Who receives it

Formspree, Inc. (United States) processes the registration form for us and forwards each submission to our email.
GitHub, Inc. (United States) hosts this site and receives the technical data described above.
Our email provider and professional advisers (for example lawyers and accountants), where necessary for the matter and bound to confidentiality.
Authorities, where the law requires.

5. Transfers outside the UK and the EEA

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.

6. How long we keep it

Registration details are kept until you withdraw your consent or for 24 months after your last contact with us, whichever comes first. Correspondence is kept for as long as the matter is live and afterwards only as long as the law or the defence of legal claims requires. Technical logs are kept by the hosting provider under its own policy.

7. Your rights

You may ask us for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of use, a portable copy, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before. Write to inquiries@burjalriyad.com and we will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

8. Complaints

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at), or to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

9. Changes

If we change how we use your data, for example by adding analytics or cookies, we will update this notice and its date.
